Who is the dude behind Shiftr?
It doesn’t really matter who the dude is, I’m just glad you’re here. As the quote above from David Craib says it all. It’s all about the work but if you insist, my name is Ivan. I was born in Indonesia a few decades ago. It took me a while to switch direction from the world of finance to the wonderful world of art. The reality hit me hard after I graduated with a degree in economics back in 2000. I was like, man.. 5 years of torture and I could not even remember what I had learnt. I would not call it a waste though. Then I decided to pursue what I really love doing. I went here to the US, studied hard and graduated in 2006 with a master degree in new media. All is good and well.

What is Shiftr?
A place for me to post my work and thoughts.

Inspiration and ideas?
My source of inspiration has always been from Him, the true Designer himself. The world is the perfect example of the true art. The blue sky, the sunset colors, the muddy mud, the morning mist, you name it and the palette is there for you.

A gamer?
Not a serious or hardcore gamer. Just a casual one. I love game, there are so many similarities between the 2 mediums, web and games. You can get a lot of elements from the game, tweak them and they are web-ready.
